It was the summer and Edgar and his parents agreed that it would be good if they had some time apart so Edgar went to visit his grandmother who lived alone while they investigated some distant places on a slow cruse which the youth would have hated.
Edgar and his grandmother were very happy with each other’s company (at least for a short time). But enough about that since we are really interested in Gran’s neighbor, Mr. Phillip Meray and his interactions with Edgar. They met in the usual way that visitors meet their host’s neighbors passing in the street. The only thing that Edgar found interesting was his butt which he thought about turning bright red in the most traditional manner.
Edgar had the opportunity to observe Meray interacting with his two young boys in the park and locker room at the town pool. He thought that eleven-year-old Teddy and Jimmy, his ten-year-old brother, were tense when he saw them together. He understood a possible reason when the demanding father yelled at his son for not coming instantly when called. “But I was on the ladder to the diving board and could not go back down because of the guys behind me and the one ahead was taking a long time.” explained Teddy.
But his father insisted that he was still at fault and promised “you will be spanked when we return home, you insolent boy. Be grateful you’re not being spanked here. I will not tolerate any disobedience.”

The next day Edgar learnt that spankings were frequent from Meray as he sat in the backyard reading. The windows were open in the Meray’s house and he heard the mundane argument quickly followed by Jimmy getting spanked. There were repeated statements about ‘actions having consequences’ and ‘accidents are results of actions’.
It was easy to reason out that Meray was quite an arrogant and intolerant tyrant who did not understand the world. “That man needs to be spanked long and hard.” decided Edgar. He wished that he could do it immediately but, alas, he was not a super hero so could not act. All he could do was feel sorry for the two boys.
It was a surprise when Meray called him that evening. “Edgar, can you babysit my boys this evening? My regular babysitter just called that she is trapped in a traffic jam an hour away.” They easily worked out terms.
When Edgar arrived, Meray introduced him to the kids, told him not to hesitate to spank them should they be any trouble in the least and promised to return by eleven, eleven-thirty at the latest.
The evening went well. The boys were well behaved and went to bed without fuss. The problem occurred later – well after eleven-thirty as Meray did not return as promised. It was twelve-thirty when he actually returned and he had been driving after drinking.
Edgar was quite outraged on two counts for his being late and breaking the law. Edgar immediately started to lecture the man. He was quite accomplished at this task and was able to include all of the arguments that Meray had unreasonably used on his boys. As you would expect he wrapped it all up stating that “The consequences of your terrible conduct is that you have eared an extremely thorough, hard spanking which I will administer right now.”
Meray was quite shocked but Edgar was not having any of it. “You demand no less of your little boys so you must be held to even stricter standards of conduct. Now no more insolent lip from you.” As Meray was in shock he did not resist as Edgar pulled him over to the couch where he opened his belt and pants. With the ease developed from much experience, Edgar made Meray’s pants and undies quickly travel south before he was upended over his lap.
It was only after Edgar started to spank with his well-experienced hand that Meray started to object and struggle. Neither was effective with the very experienced spanking youth and this was but the beginning. After a few minutes, Edgar picked up the hairbrush that Meray kept in the room to abuse his boys with and got extra serious with the spanking. Meray was definitely unhappy with his bottom being so efficiently whacked and turned into a major pain center.
It had been many years since Meray had been spanked and he had forgotten how unpleasant it was. This night was a reminder of times past and it instilled doubts about how he was treating Teddy and Jimmy. That, of course, would take a while to resolve.© YLeeCoyote
Unbeknown to either Edgar or the man was that the noise had awoken both boys who naturally investigated. They were delighted to see their father being spanked by the babysitter. Unfortunately, they missed the pre-spanking lecture but heard the brief after spanking one which had a familiar ring to it. They discreetly rushed back to bed unseen as Edgar left.

In late December Edgar received two greeting cards both addressed by his Granny. One was her usual holiday card with its most welcome check. The other was a surprise for it was from the young Teddy and Jimmy. Along with the words of holiday cheer was a special great big thank you for having sat them that one summer evening and especially dealing with their father. “Your spanking and lecturing him has made a huge change in our lives. We are most grateful.”
Edgar was quite overwhelmed.
